Companies

PULSE 87 FM, a subsidiary of Mega Media Group, Inc. (MMDA), is New York's new Rhythmic Top 40 radio station. New York's radio market generates over $600 million dollars in revenue and is the number one market in the US. PULSE 87 is directly competing with New York's Z100 radio station which generates revenue of over $60 million a year.

PULSE 87 has signed a load of well-known mix deejays and has received advertisement orders from major recognized brands such as Sobe Life Water Brand a division of Pepsico, Inc. and Paragon Honda.

Broadcasting as WNYZ (87.7 FM), the station is built around Star & Buc Wild in the morning. The Star & Buc Wild morning Show has generated over $12 million a year in revenue on previous stations and has beat out Howard Stern for ratings.

PULSE 87 is starting to see increases in audience listening and recognition in its market. As a result of this growing popularity PULSE 87 is starting to see more recognized brands advertise on the station.

The radio station has been on the air for three months. The viral "word of mouth" by listeners has been as incredible as well. Just look at the radio station's Web site to see a constant stream of listener quotes singing the praises of Pulse 87.

MMDA plans to expand the PULSE 87 musical format outside of the New York City area. The station's early success has gotten the attention of station owners in other cities. They've been busy contacting MegaMedia to ask about bringing this new format to their town. With many stations facing slumping listener numbers, PULSE 87 radio could be the answer for higher ratings -- and more revenue.
